You will need to purchase 3/8” dowels for this project. Make sure to measure the dowels thickness with calipers to determine the exact size of the holes in the stand base.
These CAN be resized. You will need to make sure all pieces are grouped as if it is already put together.
You must use specified material ex: 1/4" measures (.19-.22”) for this to fit together properly. Using material outside of this range will cause these not to fit together properly. Please measure your materials and make sure you have these materials prior to purchasing this file. Should you need to increase the size of the slots, there is software available for making these adjustments.
I chose to cut these from birch that are shown in the photo. Be sure you are aware birch has glue pockets and voids and may not always cut all the way through.
